Day 2 of FIP treatment and It was hard to go to the sleep last night.
May 2:
When we finally did get to the sleep it was all tossing and turning all night long. The adrenalin stuck around for a bit since her meds were administered so late, and of course, the wondering what is gonna happen in the morning.
We put her in the hallway so she was in a safe space, gave her all the food and water she needs. Her litter box, a laptop with streaming cat tv that was very low light and sound, and hoped for the best. In the morning, she was still in the same state, no change.
As the day progressed we noticed she had a bit more energy, but not much else had changed. We started giving her shots of B12 to help with her anemia and low energy since her red blood cell count was declining.
FIP Treatment Notes:
Started eating on her own without the guidance of the other cat. Eating chicken when she normally does not. Belly same size. Seems to have a little more energy but no major changes.
0.25ml of 1000mcg/ml of B12 medicine.
Cat screamed and fought back hard, this time she had more power to fight back. Last time her bites felt like little kitty kisses. This time, she bit clean into the skin drawing blood with pain, her jaw strength is improving, harder to control her this time. Small signs of improvement.
