Day 7 of FIP treatment and things are turning around quickly!

May 7

She was not feeling good last night but this morning was a whole other story. I woke up to her MEOWING AND PURRING OUT LOUD! I haven’t heard that beautiful sound in quite some time and wow was I ever happy to hear it! I gave her wet food and she ate a half a bowl, and went back to lay down on her heated blanket, I bet it was exhausting.

Things seem to be turning around now, or at least they appear that way. Her poops are small now but she did eat this morning and ate a lot. Although, she does seem to be swinging her hips when she walks, which is a clear sign that it’s affecting her brain. But, on the bright side, her eyes are clear. Her voice is mostly low and most of time can’t hear her meows, but she is trying. When she has the energy, she will follow me around and try to jump on my lap. Her lips and nose are very pale still, but at least not yellow. Third eyelid cant bee seen, which is a great sign, and she still is peeing. She likes to drink the water from the shower floor rather than her bowl, but I’m happy she is drinking at all. Looking into getting her Catwater that’s pH balanced for cats, see if that helps at all.
